The range of services provided by our team in the field of direct taxation primarily covers: professional assistance in assessing business transactions in view of the tax authorities’ application of tax avoidance preventing clauses. We identify aggressive tax planning in past and planned events as well as apparent operations. We estimate tax consequences in case the tax authorities accuses a taxpayer to perform – under the guise of a legal act – another hidden legal act. We assess the legality of tax planning and verify whether it is aimed exclusively or primarily at obtaining tax advantages. We estimate the risk of tax irregularities if the tax authorities initiate proceedings. We resolve ambiguities and complexities related to the classification of tax revenues and costs in terms of CIT and PIT. We conduct an analysis of capital transactions, mergers, acquisitions, disposals and liquidations of business entities and their tax consequences. We provide advice on projecting the best way to raise and invest financial resources for business development using legal forms of taxation. At the request of public authorities, we identify transactions taking place in the course of business transactions aimed solely at tax avoidance and tax law gaps resulting in losses for the state budget.
