What is this
trademark?
A trademark can be, in particular, a word, graphics, logo, spatial composition, as well as a hologram, sound or multimedia. A trademark, as an asset of an enterprise, may be subject to valuation and may be traded – by donation, sale, in-kind contribution or license.
Protection of trademarks
Protection for a trademark lasts 10 years from the date of filing with the Patent Office and may be extended in consecutive 10-year periods. When submitting a mark for protection, a decision must be made as to the territorial and material scope of protection.
Trademark monitoring
Since 2016 it is necessary to independently monitor new applications filed with the Patent Office. In the case of filing a trademark that infringes our protected trademark, the only way to block the possibility of granting protection is to file an official objection
Action while protecting the mark?
Trade mark protection may be extended in subsequent 10-year periods. The condition is, however, the submission of an appropriate application and payment of the official fee in due time. Failure to do so will result in the loss of ownership of registered trademarks.

Objection period
During this period, other entities may object to the trademark submitted by us.

If there are no objections or if the Office rejects them, the procedure ends with the registration of the mark.
